he Snapdragon 888 is a high-end mobile processor designed by Qualcomm for use in flagship smartphones and other mobile devices. It was announced in December 2020 and is the successor to the Snapdragon 865.


The Snapdragon 888 is built on a 5nm manufacturing process, which means that it is more power-efficient than its predecessor. It features a tri-cluster CPU design, consisting of a single high-performance Cortex-X1 core clocked at up to 2.84 GHz, three high-performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.42 GHz, and four power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.8 GHz.
